Last night I turned the tv on, picture was fine but the audio had a lot of static. turned it off and now it wont come on. Power indicator blinks 9 times when you try to turn it on.

Check all inputs. Make sure they are properly connected and all of them are giving you this static. If this is the case you have a bad audio circuit in your TV. The odds are that your signal is bad though. Also try lightly slapping your TV to see if there are any bad connections. The sound should come in and out if this is the case.
Could be serious...but first check the screen modes (for split screen, format, etc) to be sure the tv is set up properly for the picture you are trying to watch. Switch the input to a DVD or something similar. Is it the same? If not, you have a mode/resolution problem with the tuner and perhaps some other device.
