Just recieved a SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 2GB and have loaded music but after each copy (from CD'S) it says "No Song" under every music option. BUT, explorer does regognize it and advises songs are located on the hard drive of the Sansa (MyComputer\Sansa Clip 2GB\Internal Memory\Music). UGH! Help
I installed the latest version of windows media player and it solved the problem
The songs ripped from CD are not in the right format. In Windows Media Player, highlight the Rip tab, click the black arrow under the Rip tab, select Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3. Now, re-rip the songs. Before you transfer these tracks to the player, make sure you delete the tracks that are on the mp3 player now, or else Windows Media Player wil ltell you that the tracks are already there. Now, transfer the newly-ripped Mp3 tracks to your Sansa. Should be good to go.

Awesome, fast and understandable! I'm Impressed! Thanks Tha Mp3 Doctor
I have the same problem, I download songs into my Mp3 they seem to download but as soon as I unplug my Mp3 and play songs it says No Song. This is music that is downloaded into my computer not from a CD and I already installed the latest version of windows media player. I tried formatting as the Sansa website suggested and it deleted ALL of my songs.
