It is probably a fuel related issue. It's most likely not ignition related because it starts and runs for a bit.
Clean the carb, make sure gas gets to the carb. Give it another try.

Fill oil to the top, add unleaded fuel, and pull the recoil to turn over engine 3 times. This should prime the carb. Then start!

May have condinsation around the winding inside. Shut it off, try again (may have been a fluke)

Are you talking about idle switch or the primary running speed. Had the Gen. been stored for awhile. Check for free movement of linkages to Carburetor.

I would let it cool completely and see if it starts again. There are no specific timers that say after detecting a low oil shutdown don't start for X amount of time. It is more than likely a choke setting as it is hot, and you may now have flooded it.

Code 32 is a low cranking speed sense. You didn't mention a Spec # which would help. You say batteries are ok, but the generator is not getting enough cranking amps or voltage to maintain the control properly. Check, battery voltage, wiring, any in line isolation solenoids, check generator solenoid, also make sure there is no mechanical binding on the generator, a good way to do that is remove the spark plugs DISCONNECT THE BATTERY to prevent starting, underneath where the air intake is under the alternator is a plastic plug, remove that and you can put a socket I believe 3/4" up onto the alternator shaft and rotate the engine, if it tuns freely there is no binding, if you feel it is hard to move, check the drive train, belts, pulleys underneath (A lot of work, best to take to a dealer if it is mechanically bound)

sounds like the valve is binding in the valve guide

if you can't find a bolt local and you don't want to order one try and get a piece of threaded rod and a nut

Always troubleshoot with new sparkplug. Remove the oil sending unit connection from the coil. The coil should work without any wires connected. Usually the only connections are oil sending unit that will short to ground when low oil condition and other wire must be kill wire to on/off switch. Use carb cleaner spray directly into the carb with air filter removed and choke off as fuel supply. Just a short spray and another short spray after a couple of pulls. If engine wants to start you will need to keep spraying cleaner for engine to continue to run. If engine wants to run, replace fuel with couple gallons of premium fuel to get it going. Hotter fuel will help if the compression is low. Good luck

I have the same problem with my 2008 King. Have you run the on board diagnostics to see if there are fault codes stored? I am starting with the air filter. I took it off and started the bike and as usual it started Ok then I let it run and stopped the engine. Normally at this point it won't start first time but with the filter off it did, so I am changing that. If this doesn't work I will be looking at the Oxygen sensor in the exhaust system as this might be faulty. I had a 05 King before this one and the sensor moved when the throttle was moved but on this 08 model it doesn't and as it sits in the hot air of the exhaust and my starting problems only occur when the bike is hot, it might be that. I'll try the simple first in accordance with Ochims razer principle.
