My Frigidaire Gas Self Cleaning Oven door is open in lock position and panel is flashing "lock". I can't close the door. I've tried turning off the breaker box and then back on. I've also tried cancelling after holding the door/light button, which for some reason is not turning off the light either. Any advice?
Hello ericndiana6b - Was the unit in self-clean mode? Try pressing and holding the "Clear/Off" button to stop any operation of the EOC. Do this at the same time while pushing and hold the light switch to the left of the door lock. Usually this will trick the oven into unlocking the door. If it is ineffective, try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and redo the steps. If door continues to maintain locked while open, the unit may possibly have a faulty door latch or a communication problem with the EOC. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
Hello Frank - Since a gas range is such a complex unit and for safety and liability reasons the unit is not designed to be lift open. However you may clean the burner grates, burner caps, and the surface burner heads.

I've unscrewed the lock and now the door can shut, but it is still blinking "lock" and we can not cook or clean. When we try to program anything the "dr" comes on panel.
