How do I put the washer in test mode - Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000E Front Load Washer

I don't have a model number but it sounds like the unit is in the life test mode. I'm assuming that since you have tried to calibrate it, you know how to get into the test mode. PUT THE UNIT INTO TEST MODE, THEN TURN 13 CLICKS TO THE RIGHT SO THAT WASH, RINSE AND CYCLE COMPLETE OR END OF CYCLE IS LIT. PRESS START. ALL LIGHTS SHOULD GO OUT AND NOW YOU ARE OUT OF THE LIFE TEST MODE. THIS IS USED AT THE FACTORY FOR EXTENDED TESTING AT FACTORY WITHOUT HAVE TO RESTART WASHER

Replace the motor position sensor also known as a 'hall' sensor. About $20. Pretty easy fix. Check out videos on , repairclinic.com , , appliancepartspros.com , or YouTube.com.
Pretty common erroron older units.

i believe it is the power button along with the two center buttons on the right.

I see that you would like to put your Frigidaire washer into test mode and you do not have the available buttons listed on the average test. Could you please provide me with your model number? You can usually locate the model number on the serial tag which can be found on the door frame of your washer. Someone accidentally put it into TEST mode and to get it out of the test mode follow this:-- Unplug the washer for 4 minutes and then plug it back and press start, the display should go daft. Press start again and the display should settle down. Now press the on/off button and the start button at the same time and hold them down for a few seconds until the display shows d-end or d-off. Try putting the machine into diagnostic mode. If it won't enter diagnostic mode, then you need to replace the main control board.

I found that one the plastic features on the bottom of the pump housing that mount the pump to the sheet metal floor of the washer had broken off. This allowed the pump to move around during opperation which cause the power connections to become loose and have intermitant contact. I cleaned up the connections and used shills to tighten up the pump mount and it works fine. Pretty dissapointing to pay a "qualified" technician to come and overlook such a simple problem and tell me to buy a new board :(
