Water leaking in my frigidaire gallery refrigerator by the water filter, not sure what do do?

I would say that either the filter has split or the seal where it screws into the housing has failed. I would try a new filter and seal.

Does the Frigidaire Gallery FRS22XGCW have a water filter? If so, what is the part #?

Frigidaire refrigerators water filters are located in the refrigerator section on the top right side. I didn't see one listed for your unit. There are in line filters available you can install on the water supply from the house. Good luck.

Replaced water filter, dispensing valve on frigidaire gallery side by side still no ice or water

It may very well be frozen. Some of those fridges have problems with the line freezing because of the way the line runs. The one way to tell would be to empty fridge, unplug, and let sit to thaw. Opening freezer/fridge doors will shorten the process. You can Google your exact model number also, and find out how your lines run and use a hair dryer on that location.

I have a frigidaire gallery series side by side and everytime the fridge says the water filter needs to be changed now it leaks a good bit of water from the bottom of the fridge.

There is an O ring that will leak water into the overflow pan under the fridge. I'd clean the pan too to eliminate bad odors. You must shut off the water supply before changing the filter element. There is no shut off valve built into the filter or its housing.

We just bought a home .w/it came a great fridge.but now in 4 mo the filter in the fridge needs replaced for the 3rd time >??whats the deal ? presourse 2 2000

probably the water line is clogged with some kind of dirt. Disconnect the water supply and disconnect all the water lines and blast them through with compressed air.

Water on floor

is possible that the plastic tube that leeds in the pan is obstructed or in a wrong position, check if water goes in the pan just put some water trought from the inside hole in the fridge and check if it reach the pan, maybe the inclination of the fridge is not sufficient, ( it has to be inclined to the wall direction so the water slides on the back inside wall of the fridge. can also be poor insulation of the fridge, so the outside surfaces come wet because of the hight air temperature outside and the cold surfaces of the fridge, then the water slides down the floor...make sure about air ventilation around the fridge!...I hope it was useful!
