Says "Fill water tank" and the tank is full

I'm not sure what to do. . . my Saeco Magic comfort + keeps telling me to fill water tank and the water tank is full. For a while, all I would need to do is take it off and put it back on, but now that's not working. Any help you could provide would be awesome!

Thank you!

Thank you very much Pierre235! Appreciate it! It worked, and I'm hoping it will keep working!

we had the same issue and noticed the floating magnet stayed in the down position even when there was enough water. we have had it wedged up with a toothpick and it worked ok for a couple of years. Now it refuses to work and gives the same "fill watertank" message. Coffee Drs in Pheonix said if the magnet case gets a leak, over time the water corrodes the magnet and it stops working. if we take the tank off and place a magnet over the sensor the message changes to ready. We are going to try a new tank and keep our fingers crossed.

Yes, had the same problem with the magnet. Using a bamboo skewer to lift the magnet. Can we purchase a new magnet or component for the water tank?

What ventelite mean

This can happen if there is not water in the system to prime it. If it has been out of use for a while, or if the water tank was low and you used most of the water for the last shot, steam, or hot water drink. With the machine off, fill the water tank, turn the machine on, and immediately, before heating up, run water out the steam wand. This will fill the system and clear the Ventilate message. Sometimes, if you use an aqua prima water filter, they can slow the water flow enough to trip the machine into sensing a lack of water. Be sure to change the filters on time.

Display on Saeco Magic Comfort+ says "Fill Watertank" even when tank is full. Removing and resetting does not help.

Hi
This is usually a magnet in the water tank or sensor inside the machine. First do you have the grey magnet in the water tank? If no magnet in the tank, that is the problem. The magnet floats when the tank is full and sinks when its empty. It sends a flux signal to the sensor inside the machine. If the sensor is bad inside it doesn't pick up the flux field and you get the "water tank empty" display.

Our Comfort machine won't brew and constantly displays, "Fill Watertank" even with the tank full. In order to brew, one has to remove the water tank then gently lower it only partially down in place. As...

Hi
The magnet in the water tanks is either upside down or has sunk to the bottom of the tank. It should float to the top of the cage it is in and it should have a flat top not rounded. If its rounded side up the magnet is upside down. This is what would cause your problem.

Water gtank full telling me to fill water tank

Hi
Check an see if you have the magnet in your water tank. That is your signal to the computer that it is full if it is at the top of its chamber. If you don't have a magnet ( gray cylinder) in the water tank that is your problem. If it is on the bottom the magnet needs to be replaced.
