Removing the Pedestal Stand

1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat, cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand protruding over the edge of the surface.

Note:

Extreme care should always be used when removing the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.

2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed without tools.

3) Remove the five screws shown in the diagram below. This will allow removal of the pedestal stand.

4) Once you have removed all five screws holding the pedestal stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by sliding the pedestal stand a way from the TV (Remorve 5, 4mm or 5/32" Allen Bolts from back of TV.)

Look at one of the power supply output connector pin, there should be 5vdc all the time the minute you plug the TV into the wall outlet, if you do not have the standby 5vdc, nothing else will work. If it is high def it will probably have "HDTV" printed on it somewhere. It will have some type of HDMI or DVI inputs. If it's not high def there is nothing that can convert it.

You need to go to set up and on the far right menu there is an antenna setting. Can't remember the exact wording but the set comes set up for cable, just change it to antenna. After that run the channel setup.
