SOURCE: LCD is blank (grey) but camera is still functioning.

call Kodak it is a known problem they will do it FREE just call them dont worry if ur model is not there just call and ask them about BAD CCD

The screen must be replaced. To do it yourself, the screen will cost around $40 from virtualvillage dot com. I just did one. It took about 15 minutes. The ribbon cable is held in by a flip up lock on the main board. Otherwise, it's just remove the screws around the case and pull the bottom edges outward first.
