The BH25 that I use from my friend runs on STRAIGHT gas, it is 4cycle. Do NOT put a fuel mix into it!! It has separate oil system.

Follow-up information. I bought a Dolmar handheld blower, its an exact replica of the BH25 from John Deere which is no longer sold. I walked a mt bike trail last night for 2 hours on one tank of fuel mostly idling, just to clear off the light stuff with an occaisonal dense blow-off. Again, its STRAIGHT gasoline, theres a GAS PUMP symbol on the cap. If its mix, there will be a pump AND an oil drop symbol.

I called the John Deere dealer about this and the BH 25 LE is set up like an outboard 2 cycle. You do not add oil to the gas tank. There is a separate oil storage that you put the oil into. Gas goes into the gas tank and 2 cycle oil goes into the oil reservoir. I can't believe they want $20 for an owners manuel and another $10 for shipping.

SOURCE: oil/gas ratio for a modle UTO8110 homelite leaf blower

you can run 32:1 if you want to it wont hurt it but it may foul a plug since its more oil, 50:1 is the best ratio for your blower

SOURCE: what is the mix ratio for the troybilt 25cc blower?

Troy-Bilt products now are usually produced by Mtd, the ratio being 40:1.
However since John Deere made yours I'm 99.9% sure it should by 32:1.
In any case any power equipment you own (including Dolmar or Stihl) that takes an oill/gas mix benefits in the long run from using the richer 32:1 ratio. It protects the piston and cylinder much better, giving your equipment longer life. Do not use the "one mix for all" that you find at retail stores as it has been my experience it really isn't "one mix for all". Seen a lot of scratched pistons and broken rings from people using that.

SOURCE: What is gas-oil ratio for homelite leaf blower

Unless you know better, I would use 40:1. That will give you more oil than needed if it is 50:1 but wont hurt the engine. Do some more checking to get the actual ratio...Lee

Inherited a old John deere hand held leaf blower need to know if the fuel line with I'm guessing is a vent of some kind that's opposite of the line with the actual fuel filter on it.does this2ndlinego

See;
https://weingartz.com/illustrated-diagram/john-deere-parts-lookup/model-bh25-bh25le-bh30-power-blower-pc2699/4275-171089

The above link is a component pictorial so its not exact, but shows two lines not three so the cap is the vent. (mantis tillers have a no vent fuel cap and 3rd line for the tank vent)

Side note: Id like to see picture of a $200+ 2 cycle carburetor.

John Deere bh25 blower won't start has fuel and new plug stop switch is ok

Sounds like a dirty carb. If you can take off the fuel bowl and clean it out real good and blow out the fuel jet and make sure there is no dirt in it. That quite often will get you going. An engine will not run if the jet is plugged.

What makes my john deere 2030 diesel engine fire

Super high compression ratios in the combustion chambers which ignite a highly COMBUSTIBLE, not overly FLAMMABLE fuel mixture. How they get the mixture to fire at or before top dead center of the compression stroke I have no idea.

Bh25 le carb schematic

The waxy substance it gelled fuel. You have to totally clean and blow out all passageways. Resist using any hard tools or drill bits, you want to change NOTHING in terms of size..You just want it totally all cleaned.
Replace all soft parts. Verify the passageways are open. I prefer to soak in carb cleaner, it is strong and nasty, but resolves what you describe. Spray stuff seems to work well, but I worry about areas like venturi discharge systems...Soaking does it.

Required fuel oil mix

Two-stroke oil with a 50:1 (Gas:Oil) mix ratio is required for the Husqvarna 125B leaf blower. Using the wrong oil or improper mixture ratio can drastically affect the performance of the leaf blower.

My John Deere leaf blower (BH25) will not start. I've had it for several years and have had no prior trouble with it. It uses two-cycle fuel. I usually get the stuff you mix with regular gasoline...

Fuel is no good get rid of it start fresh. First you need to take off the the carb and clean it very good put it back together with new fuel and start blowin, the season is upon us. Good Luck....

I have a John Deere hand held blower. I can't get

Your adjustments to the carburetor may make it worse.
Plus if the fuel mixture is over 30 old, I would replace it.
Manufacturers have told us this year any gas over 30 days old is considered bad gas and needs to be replaced. I would try some fresh gas(from the station) and some new 2 cycle oil at 40:1 Ratio(3.2 ozs 2 cycle oil to 1 gal of gas).
Good day.
