I recently installed two 12 inch rockford he fosgates and the infinity 611-a amplifier. When i was finishing up wiring my deck and got ready to connect the remote wire i could not get steady power to the amp. The lights "clip" and protect" light up when we play with the ground, but cannot get thw power LEd light to come on or stay on. Just wondering if anyone has any comments or answers. The led lights clip and protect only come on when we play iwth the ground which makes me think maybe thats it, however i have removed and remounted the ground three times, and wont give me ANY power, not even a quick flash when the ground is completely secure, but flashes when the ground sparks at a new source.
Are you running a large ground wire directly to the battery negative terminal?
I have a really big problem, results mi amplifier had power led flashing and also the clip flash some times and protect led is On, the subwoofer doesnt make any sound so this happens when the car its on. When its off the protect and the power light always are on.
Somebody can help me please
I had the same problem, and it turned out to be a problem with my subs. I would check them.

I had a similar problem-- my 611a had its protect and and clip lights on, but now has nothing. I've tested my remote, power, and RCA's, and they all read the voltages they should. The ground is also fine, as I've had an amp that worked before connected to the same point. My fuses are all good, and I've tried with and without my capacitor. My sub has been tested with another amp and works fine. Any other ideas to test it?
