Is your remote turn on wire installed and the cables hooked up correctly? You can try jumping the 12vdc on the amp to the remote turn on lead to force it to turn on to see if it's a deck issue.

SOURCE: amp problem

Have you checked the fuses on the amp?

Have you confirmed that you have both B+ and remote voltage at the amp?'

When measuring the voltage, place the black meter probe on the ground terminal of the amp.

Is that on all the time or are you saying the light is on? If that light is always on that just means it's protecting your amp. If it's off and not playing bass then your in trouble

No power going to amp

Hi there! Try to check the fuse from the amp. and the remote must have 12v power. There are 3 wires to hook up [+, remote and -] . That is the only way the amp could have power other than broken.. Good Luck...

I have an american legacy series 2 1000watt apm

Check and see what size fuses it uses. Your watt power means nothing without good fuses. My suggestion would be to go buy 40a fuses and replace the ones you already have.

Power problem

Do you actually see a fuse in it? If there is a fuse it should typically say on it what the rating is.
