Adui a4 there is a light on the center console and it says 1mph can u tell me what it means please

    I think you have set the car to beep and warn you if you are exceeding a certain speed, I set mine for 1mph also when I was playing with the buttons. Look in the manual, but I think I got rid of it by holding down the reset button for 2 seconds while the 1mph was displayed.

Read your owners manual on how to set or clear your speed warning. There is nothing wrong with your car.
IIRC, the speed warning is zeroed by holding down the left instrument cluster button for more than one second when the vehicle is moving faster than 3mph. The icon will show with a diagonal bar through it indicating the speed warning is turned off.

you are having fuel delivery issues, assuming the fuel pump is working fine, check your fuel filters (usually one in line and one in the tank). chances are one of these are clogged.

  • Torque wrench V.A.G 1783



1-Cigarette lighter
  • Removal:
  • Remove center console.
  • Turn center console - 4 - around.
  • Remove two bolts - 3 - on cigarette lighter - 1 -.
  • Disconnect harness connector - 2 -.
  • Remove cigarette lighter - 1 - from recess - 5 -.
  • Installing: Installation is reverse of removal.
2-Connector3-Screws, (2x)
  • Tightening torque 2 Nm
4-Center console5-Cut-out

I have an 2004 audi a4 63500 miles when does timing belt need changing or how can I tell if it was done recently
The timing belt interval used to be 120k, but after numerous timing belt breaks and a class action lawsuit against VAG, Adui has changed the interval to 80k..However, i have seen them break even at 70k miles. Unless you see paperwork that it has been done, just plan on replacement before 70k. Better safe than sorry, if it breaks it costs thousands!
