Freezer is cold but refrigerator is not.

If the vent from the freezer to the refrigerator is not blocked with food or paper particles, then it's likely the defrost system is not working properly. You will need a technician to determine the cause.

First thing to check would be the fan in the freezer compartment, it circulates the cold air up to the refrigerator compartment

The fresh food compartment is cooled by air being blown from the freezer compartment into the fresh food compartment. Something is restricting that air flow which causes your fresh food compartment to stay warm.

There is a panel, or door if you will, that separates the freezer and fresh food compartments. The freezer temp control determines how much cold air is allowed to escape into the fresh food compartment by opening or closing this panel.

If the panel is restricted from moving (stuck closed, for example), the freezer will get VERY cold while the fresh food compartment will be warm.

Try thoroughly defrosting the refrigerator. Possibly an accumulation of ice is preventing the panel from moving and/or is restricting air flow from the freezer to the fresh food compartment. It's a free fix and may solve your problem altogether.

If that doesn't help, or helps only temporarily, you may have a problem with panel itself or the linkage that connects it to the control mechanism. Unless you're skilled in appliance repair, checking and repairing these components will require the help of a service technician

It's probably the fan in the freezer compartment.  It is supposed to blow cold air from the freezer through the ducts into the refrigerator.  It's either iced up or dead.

check to see if if the back wall of the freezer is full of ice if so this is an automatic defrost problem
timer ,heater or limit switch

the small cooling fan in the freezer compartment that sends chilled air to the food side is defective and needs replacement.  Sometimes that are only frozen stuck.

It is possibly your defrost element which is not working causing a build up of ice and reduced airflow through the freezer compartment. This is located behind a cover in the freezer compartment. It is best to change both the element as well as the defrost limiting thermodisc which is attached to the fins of the evaporator.

can be a few things, if you open the freezer door do you hear afan running?? perhaps the fan is no good?? is there a large amount of frost on the lower plate of back wall of freezer??? very common issue to have a bad defrost thermostat.

is the freezer cold. the freezer is acualy the only refrigeratted compartment . it has the evap coil in the rear wall and a fan to cerculate the air . a potion of the air is let into the food compartment . most comonly the freezer defrost system can be the fault. so i would requier answers to the first question. is the freezer compartment working. hope this helped
