Your antenna seems to be mis alighned. Its ZERO point must be readjusted.

It has been my experience that Furuno doesn't part with their schematics cheaply. If you contact their support department, they MIGHT sell you a schematic, going price is usually about $100. Here's a link to their support/forum page.

You may have a faulty magnetron or one that has gotten old. They do have a life. Find out how many hours you have on the unit and give furuno a call. They will more than likely tell you what they think the problem is.

With a voltmeter, verify that you are getting 12V at the plug end of the power cable. If so, check the fuses (there should be one or two fuse holders on the back). If all of that fails you will need to send it in to Furuno for repair.

I had exact the same problem with my furuno 1621, Furuno in Netherlands also say needs new mother board (650 euro!)

Problem is fixed

Problem is not the switch, but an Elco on the mother board. it's the small elco on the Mother board Cost just a few cents!
