My washing machine will randomly stop in the middle of the cycle. It usually is when there is 19 minutes left on the load and I have to press start for it to finish. I have a warranty, do I need to have someone come fix it? What would cause this? Also alot of the time the clothes will still be sopping wet when the load is finished and I have to press DRAIN AND SPIN to get the excess water out. What is causing this? HELP! My GE WBSE20920 Top Load Washer keeps stopping during different cycles. I read all the info on here and I'm ready to find the filter. I took off the front cover but can't seem to find it. The motor is the first thing I see. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
You need to have a tech out to look at it it sounds like the motor isnt going into high spin and /or cutting out on over load this is a problem with the g/e's there is no filter on this machine all the lint is flushed down the drain

I don't know how the first part of the comment got on my post. Sometimes it cuts off during running water, or during wash cycle or during spin cycle. Could it be the timer? I could call someone to fix it but really like to try to do it ourself. Thanks for the info.
