I have an answering machine that shares the line with new DECT phont system. When answering machine turns on, the tones are no longer received by fax, so can't get faxes to come through. Called Uniden. They do not have Tech Support Dept and merely said that they do not test phone with fax machines. I am hoping this is simply a setting issue.

I have searched the user manual and can find no help on this matter, although there are help numbers listed and I'm sure they can advise, here is the link to the main page and there is a link to a pdf manual download if you don't already have one http://www.uniden.com/products/productdetail.cfm?product=TRU8885-2
However, it may be that you could use a T adaptor or socket doubler on the line jack and plug both in. good luck !
SOURCE: I don't know how to delete message on a uniden
While the message is playing, click the top button, the one with the circle with a line thru it. That will delete the playing message. If you wish to delete all messages, click the top button when all messages have played, then click once again when the prompt says "delete all?"

That is the page for Uniden DECT phones. www.uniden.com.
There are 6 pages to flip through and all you need to do is look at the picture for you phone. Click on it and it takes you to the phones page. On the upper right sid there is a link to download the owners manual in pdf form. Unfortunetly I can't tell your model from the information so I can't tell you the page or how to do it. Hopefully the manual will get you sorted out.
