Hello,

I've seen this problem before with Philips. 6X3X blink was the X-sus or Y-sus boards. In other words, the TV cannot make the picture on the screen properly, so it won't even try and will shut down.

I've also had difficulty getting these parts from Philips (even while being an authorized service center). If you have an authorized service center near you, you might want to give them a try because I don't believe they were too expensive, just hard to get.

I hope this helps you...

Philips 50PF9630A/37 plasma TV will not power on and has a red blinking light - 6 slow flashes then 3 quick flashes . I've been having the issue on and off for about 2 weeks. seems like when I ...

Hi.

The TV is forced in standby because an internal fault has been detected. 6 blinks slow and three fast blinks points at defective Ysus board or defective buffer. The power supply must also be tested. Till now the TV was starting because when you disconnect power you discharge internal components. Some of the components have the role of storing charge (the capacitors). If a capacitor is defective the TV may still work as other components will compensate the function of the faulty part. After a while more components will fail and the TV will not start anymore. To fix the problem the TV must be tested at component level. Testing will start from PSU voltages to YSus and buffer boards.

Regards.

Tv shut itself off while I was watching.

The power supply will need to be replaced. You can get them for $30 plus dollars and solder them in.

LG 42 LCD no sound or picture

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.

No picture or sound just six red blinking lights

Use your warranty in a hurry before it expires. Your TV when into protection mode to prevent further damage. Most TVs have a 1 year warranty. Good Luck.

Philips 42PF7220A 42 in. Plasma

I had a Similar problem where I would turn the tv on and the green light would come on and then the red would follow and blink 7 times. I tried unplugging it and then then replugging it back and it would still do the same. What I did last night was that I unplugged it and then replugged it back, when I saw the green light, I would unplug it again, till the light went out and replugged it, I did that 3 times in a row, and waiting and it came back on. Hope that works. I still don't know what caused the problem to begin with..
