Wrong or 3-Digit Channel Numbers

How do I stop Orion TV Model STV2763 (27" TV) from automatically making every channel number I enter, a three-digit number; so that if I enter "6" to select channel 6 it becomes "006" or channel 006? It automatically adds two zeroes to every single number and automatically adds one zero to every two-digit number!

Need Source Dode for an RCA TV model DETK185R.

The RCA DETK185R TV can be controlled with Universal Remote Controls. I tested several.
The best match was a 4 digit universal remote from GE. Model Number 10841. Code 1961 worked almost everything.
With a 5 digit remote from RCA, model number RCRN04GR, Code 12372 worked Power, Channel, Volume and Input.
A 3 digit remote from GE, model RC24912-B. Code 166 was able to control Power, Channel, Volume and Input.
An old 3 digit remote from RCA, model RCU-403A. Code 062 was able to control Power, Channel and Volume.
Most remotes from GE and RCA will use the same code numbers. So even if you have a different model remote from GE or RCA, these codes may work.
These codes should work with other TV models in this series from RCA, including Detk215r, Detk186r and Detk156r.

Can only change the channel to single numbered channels.

Three dash option does mean it will look for three numbers. You would then have to put in three digits, so for example if you want to go to channel 31 then key in the numbers 031, for channel 42 key in 042, If you want a lower such as channel 8, then key in 008. Try this.
