Durabrand HT-395 This used system was given to me. I do not have the remote or the manual. I haven't been able to program my universal remote for it. Also, only the subwoofer, center and front left speakers work. Could you please help me with this or tell me who to contact for information? Thank You.

    i have lost the instructions. purchased new tv. speakers make a humming noise. one speaker has tv sound,with humming in background. my tv manual recommends to use an optical cable, which i do not have, or a coaxial cable. I tried the coaxial cable, same results.

    I have the same problem. A frind of mine gave me the used system with out the manual. I am not electrically inclined. How do I hook this up to my TV, stero, and DVD player?

I just bought a durabrand ht-395 system from a yard sale. unfortunately, it didnt have a remote with it. does anyone know where i can buy a replacement remote? or can i use it without a remote?

Is it the original remote or a universal remote? I believe the only remote that will work is the original. If it is the original remote then check out this link http://www.tlchrist.info/ebay/ht395/ht395.pdf, it is the installation manual and owners manual. If you hooked it up right then there is probably something wrong with it. I hope this helped.

Lost Remote for my Durabrand HT-395 Home Theater Systom
There are no codes you program into the remotes unless they are learning remotes. If you did the manual search for the code, then the universal remote will not work on that unit I'm afraid. You see you are not entering the code into the remote when you push the numbers the book tells you to. What you are doing is accessing the pre programed codes that are already programed into the remote. You cannot add any codes for universal remotes unless like I said before, they are called learning type remotes. Those cost loads of cash. Good Luck
