How do you connect wireless headphones to back of receiver?

This headset uses a 900 MHz frequency for connection from the headset to the base.
You will always incur lots of interference in a busy office using that frequency band. Any antennas on the roof or close by?
Amateur radio users?
The other thing, you might have a faulty power supply or "dirty power" coming into the unit. You can try and isolate in a current regulating power bar and see if that helps.
Else, consider changing technologies and moving to, say a DECT band.
Avoid, 2.4 and 5 GHz bands as they are in the wireless devices range and likely will incur equal amounts of interference.

You should be able to hook the tv to the cable box the cable box should have your A/V jacks. If so unplug the PS3 plug in your receiver to the cable box and run the PS3 through the receiver. Also check the side of the tv for HDMI inputs if you have HMDI you can go to Radio Shack and get a converter to go from HDMI into A/V

Its all about the quality of the converter in the Headphone unit.

If the quality is lower than the quality of the converter in the receiver, then using the head jack is a better idea. Since there is more room, power, and money going into the receiver, it may be better

The only way to be sure though, is to test it and see. Connect your computer to the receiver with HDMI, play audio through, and compare it to when you just connect your computer to the headphones, via optical audio

Your TV should have Audio out somewhere, even if its digital audio out, you could output to a receiver and then hook your headphones to the receiver.

Your receiver has Zone-2 functionality. For Zone-2, it has both speaker (powered) output and pre-out line outputs. According to Yamaha FAQ, these pre-out outputs are independent on the main volume settings. So if your wireless headphones have their own volume settings, you can change the volume independent on speakers volume.

If you want same volume for speakers and headpohones, use the PRE-OUT FRONT outputs on the back. If you want different volumes (and listen to headphones even with speakers muted), use ZONE-2 OUT outputs on the back.

You can try using the audio line out in the back, but you may need to use and adapter if the Sennheiser does not use RCA style for audio input. Post back what kind of audio input jacks the Sennheiser uses.

hello i think the question is how to connect two equipment (dvd and directv) your tv has video 1 video2 aux, put one at any input and the sounds out from tv go to receiver inputs,this way you listen what is on tv in your amplifier....................saludos

Yes, you may. RCA connections are universal, just don't connect an input lead to an output jack: you might damage the jack.

I had the same problem with my Yamaha amp. It turned out to be a shorting speaker wire. When I resoldered the speaker wall outlet connection it worked fine!

You should be able to get a cable with your headphone jack on one end and the standard left and right RCA jacks on the other end from just about any electronic store. Carl.
