Press MODE. Highlight "NORMAL" on the first line and press ENTER. Highlight "FLOAT" on the second line and press ENTER. Exit the mode screen by pressing 2ND [QUIT].

Had the same issue and just tried this....and it worls [PS dont use the littel plastic hotshoe cover as this keeps the microswitch depressed]

If you want to keep the program on the computer but just run it when you need to then go into MSCONFIG and uncheck the box for the anitvirus program and reboot the computer. If you want to remove it completely from your system then go into add/remove programs and uninstall the program and it will get rid of it completely and then reboot.
