The 2-way remote on my Viper 5301 gives me 4 red function light flashes and accompanying beeps 4 times (with about a 5 second pause between each instance) after every single use of the remote--lock, unlock or remote start/stop. It didn't do this for the first year, now has done it for months. I've gone thru the instruction manual front to back and saw nothing to indicate why. Any ideas at all? Its not a big deal, just REALLY annoying at this point. Everything else with the system seems to work fine, although I don't use a ton of the extra features, just locking/unlocking/starting.

Let me correct that--the function light doesn't flash four times, it stays solid thru the four beep tones. It will come on four times total, with 4 beeps each time it does. Just in case it matters.
