initialize the machine...speak to your technician to help you do this

There is device slot where the Key Counter goes who ever owned the machine before you had it set up like at Kinko's where you get a key from the store make your copies come go back to the employee and they determine the number of copies you made. Mite want to get the key previous owner.

stop 0 stop1 sets the machine service mode. select consumable clear the copy kit counter

just enterto tech rep mode stop 0 stop 1 then select funtion then find maintenance counter then reset the maintenance counter

Most likely it is the drum cleaning blade. One indicator of the drum cleaning blade going bad is that the black lines will get worse as you run multiple copies. So if you make 10 copies for example, the last copy out will be streaked worse than the first copy out. Drum cleanig blades are about $30 bucks plus whatever your local service guy charges for a svc call.

Set the copier into Tech. Rep. mode by pressing the following keys in this order : utilty meter count stop 0 stop 1 then from the menu select counter then select Maintenance select the conter then enter anew value from the 10-Key pad

The duplexer is for 2 sided copies. You can take 2 single sided copies and make (duplex) them into 1 double sided copy. You can take double sided copies and make more double sided (2 sided) copies with the duplexer. You can also take double sided copies and make single sided copies. Hope this helps.

clear web or drum count and developer,you will not effect the the machine aporation,by clearing count

TRY CLEAR DRUM AND OR WEB COUNT.it has to do with parts count

it means it time for the cleaning web, and waste toner bottle to be replaced. once you replace it you can reset the indicator.
