External SD memory problem

I'm trying to use a 2G SD memory card with my MPIO FL100. But when I insert the memory the player just says "Detecting card" and nothing happens. Is it possible to use that large external memories in the FL100? I'm starting to think that it's not possible. If not, why? Thanks for helping me /anngo

New 4G memory card states full have re-formatted but still shows full. Have tried a 2G card but that is ok to use any ideas please

Your new 4GB card is an SDHC card. The S700 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

When i safely removed my MP3 from my computer after charging it, i try to turn it on and it won't turn on.

Either the battery pack is dead, or ribbon cable connections between battery and circuit board or usb to circuit board is bad.

Computer not recognizing SD card as external storage/Creative Zen

Try going to the memory card option on the main menu, then go to 'Removable Storage', then the Zen should either tell you to connect a USB cord or insert a memory card. Try it, if not I dont know.

External memory - sd card recognition on pc??

if it doesn't even appear on windows explorer either the sd card, usb link or iriver is defective. if all else fails try getting a memory card reader. this allows you to store files on the card through the computer and still be able to insert the card as external storage on the iriver x20. the only trouble with that is that its hard to get the card in and out of the iriver

4GB micro sd card.

According to what I've read, you can double the original memory, but no more than that, so the max you can have on a Sansa e250 would be 4 GB (2GB internal memory and 2GB external memory). I also read that the micro SD cards holds
music only-no video.
