Sounds like its syphoning out the water. If it was overfilling, you would have water everywhere, the machine would eventually flood. Check the drain hose. Make sure the end is higher than the water level in the machine and that there are no extensions running outside which have an end lower than the water level in the machine, it will start syphoning, usually after the first pump out.
This is caused by the drain hose being put to tight into the standpipe or the standpipe to low. The drain hose should be at least the height of the machine and should have an air space around it where it goes into the standpipe ( this is yourdrain pipe in your home). If it is to low water will run right out of the machine when it enters. If there is no air gap it will create a siphoning effect and drain your machine. If you need a manual try entering your model 3 at www.appliancehelponline.com. Not all models are available.
If water runs in when the machine is OFF but stops when the tap is turned off it means a faulty watervalve.replace water valve. Probably a double valve. Dont mix up the hoses or the wires........Nomess
This means it is stuck between the spin and rinse cycle and the time piece in the housing unit might need replaced if the knob itself isnt stripped also make sure it is on small or large load..
This machine has a water valve that works on vaccuum from the tub. You will see a small clear hose that runs from the side of the tub up to this valve. This valve is adjustable to change the water level in the tub to desired setting on some machines, but if it goes bad, it will not shut off, thus overflowing the tub. Find this valve and replace it if adjustment does not work.
have you tried looking at the pressure switch? sometimes you can blow through the house that's attached to it and it will clearn things up. give it a try. good luck :)
your hot water goes through the water heater so contaminates settle in the heater. the cold does not, there is a screen inside the fill valve where the hose hooks to the valve on the machine. if this in not plugged then the fill valve will have to be replaced. because of the build up of contaminates..
