This is usually a sign of a bad thermal fuse. Here is the part to order.
You can check the fuse for continuity to see if it is bad. Remove the rear panel to access the fuse.

LG Tromm DLE2514W electric dryer: check filter light comes on when you turn the dryer on, but it otherwise seems to be working fine. The filter has been cleaned and the external house vent does not appear...

I suggest that you check the dryer venting hose and see if it might be clogged. You don't want to use the dryer with the filter light on. It could indicate a situation that could lead to a possible fire.

My dryer was working fine until one morning it wouldnt even start. We have cleaned out the traps, We have checked the door... the light comes on every time its opened. The buttons seem to work and move...

This is a symptom of a blown thermal fuse located on the blower housing. This thermal fuse is in wired in series with the motor and power to the motor is cut when the fuse blows then the motor cannot run and no dryer function works. The lent signal comes on when start the dryer

Hello, Welcome to Fixya. Based on what you've described I don't think anything is wrong with your Bosch dryer ( provided the model number is correct ). If the dryer has an l.e.d. Indicator labelled "check lint" this is simply a reminder to check it before proceeding. Believe it or not I have clients who have used their dryer for years and never noticed this indicator or "reminder" ever before...so I get it ;o) So If the unit starts and isn't displaying any error codes and otherwise working, the dryer is functioning properly, i.e. heating, not running too long, not tripping hi-limit safety etc. Let me know if this is indeed the case...that the dryer is working fine otherwise, or if you are referring to another model number. Thanks for choosing "fixya". Please take a moment and rate the answer provided here today accordingly. macmarkus :)

Air Flow

well it to me sounds like the AF, interface on the Brain board is faulty? I mean if you have replaced the thermal fuse, twice, & I guess you replaced it and it worked... for a while or? I mean thats all there is, sensor.... to ... Interface ....to.... Brain (to interpret and action.)
If it is the thermal fuses alone, perhaps they are too low a temp setting? you could safely try the next range up?

My dle2514W LG electric dryer is displaying a CL code (Child Lock) and the check filter light is flickering. Clothes are also coming out with static cling (never was a problem until now). I have cleaned...

My dryer had this same problem. I cleared it by unplugging the dryer from the wall for 20 seconds and then plugging it back in. After this "reset" of the electronics, it has functioned for 2 days without a problem.

Kenmore HE4 no power to control, no sound, but the drum light bulb on when door opened

Another post reported replacing the power cord. I am trying to determine if this is a factory defect. Check the power at the power cord connections inside the dryer. You could have lost power on one leg and the other 120 volt leg is letting the light work. Let me know what the model and serial number is.

All the LED ligths ON

In the back of the display panel. remove the metal cover with the dryer UNPLUGGED.There is a booklet that tells you how to access the service mode by pressing 2 certain buttons at a time certain dryer functions can be accessed. One of the tests were to check the led lights on your control panel, when you run the test all the lights would light up. it's a possibility if you acess the service mode and run the led light check it could possibly reset it and solve your problem. It's a shot but it can't hurt. Getting into the service mode to test certain modes on your dryer is easy enough.Just read the instructions. Good luck.
