My pokemon crystal's ingame time doesn't change.

Lately, many GBC games have hit their age limit. there is a small battery inside each cartridge that allows your game to be saved. follow the instructions below to replace it.

Weren't those games held together by screws that you could tighten? or if it is screws take apart and clean more thoroughly.
