Loud vibration dryer makes a loud vibration noise when running

There are a few things that you can do to solve the problem of loud noise from a Blomberg dryer. First, make sure that the dryer is properly installed. If the dryer is not properly installed, it will vibrate and make noise. Second, check the dryer's belt to make sure that it is not loose. If the belt is loose, it will cause the dryer to make noise. Third, check the dryer's motor to make sure that it is not defective.

I understand that your Electrolux gas dryer is making a loud vibration noise and is also loud while tumbling. There are several components in your dryer that could be causing this noise. Based off what you are describing it might be an issue with your suspension rollers, motor, or pulley. If you can open the walls of the dryer up check all screws and bolts that hold things together. Some times they will vibrate loose causing parts to make a vibrating sound against the frame itself.. Eventually the loose screws will just keep getting looser. Even the screws on the walls of the unit should be tightened That could cause a lot of noise.

That model of neptune dryer had a problem with the blower housings cracking. When the housing cracks, it binds forward into the blower wheel making a loud "rumble" noise and vibration. If you open the door and manually turn the drum and you hear a rubbing noise and feel alot of resistance, then you have a cracked blower housing and need to replace it. It is not an easy job to replace, so if your not familiar with dryers, you should have a technician replace it. Let me know if you have any further questions. shane

Normally the noise you hear is caused by the drum rollers having flat spots on them or needing lubricant.
If this is what is wrong It will make a kind of thumping noise.
When they need lubricant they will normally make a squealing noise also. You would lube the shaft and bearing area of the roller, using a good machine oil...something like "3 in One" oil.

My guess is that the belt is going bad. It could also be a bad bearing...the noise is generally metallic. Also...a bad belt tensioner comes to mind.
