Faulty or no print. spurious error messages

Printer only prints cyan on regular document. Only prints first (black) page on config test. Spurious error messages: 1 "put media: tray 1 letter plain paper" (Most frequent) 2 various "media jam" 3 "magenta toner not installed" 4 "size mismatch"

pleas check the driver settings, maybe there is a setting fit to paper or something.

Try two things:

Fan the paper before placing in the tray.

Raise the humidity in the room to at least 40% to avoid electrostatic sticking of the paper. Store paper in 40% humidity area.

My yellows ansd greens are switched

there are a number of possible errors here.
have the machine align its printheads
then have the machine complete colour calibration ( you will need good working printheads to complete the calibrations
when this is finished have the machine print out its config pages and demo print page ( you can find how to do this in the online user manual) this is done to Isolate the printer from the fault - if The demo page and config pages are printed correctly then the error lies external to the printer ( the software printing the document)
OR
check to see if the correct printer driver is installed (to be sure uninstall then re-install) open the driver and check to see in Preferences/colour that the settings are 'let machine decide colours'
or set to adobe pdf. print out the test page from the driver and pay close attention to the windows logo at the top of the page- it should match that on the windows start screen
if you can see that the green yellows are still out of calibration then you may need to change the printheads ( CYAN/Yellow) as the error may lie internal to the printhead.
at the end of the day the fault lies most likely with the software setup or the printheads.

Brother hl-3045 jam inside

Had the same problem, called help center and fixed it!!!
Problem occurred when i tried to print colour labels from Word.
Black cartridge printing worked fine.
When using manual feed (pull down black panel in front which says 'brother'- you'll get the message for this if printing labels
you must open the back door of the printer.
got 'paper jam inside' error message.

Here's what I did and somewhere along the way, something worked.

Turn and unplug machine
take out all drum cartridges (all 4)
Take out the black belt (everything you can remove has a green arrow or tab- easy)
check to see if there's any paper in there- there was no paper in my case.
separate the drum from the cartridge for each colour and check the colour roller and the fuser film roller- don't touch them- no paper stuck that i could see
put them back together carefully.
Put the belt in and then the 4 cartridges
do a test run- mine still showed error message- paper jam inside
switch black with each cartridge and do a test run for each. When i switched with yellow - didn't work, magenta- didn't work- cyan- WORKED!!!- the colours were messed up on the document but it went through and printed without the error message.
Here's the sequence of what colour cartridge went in which spot.
Yellow in black slot
magenta in yellow slot
cyan in magenta slot
black in cyan slot.
then i switched them back to the way they are supposed to be and tried to print again and it worked!
the colour is amazing on this printer- i had the trouble right from the beginning after installation.

Hp 3600n laster printer has started printing pink blothes on pictures

You probably have a defective magenta cartridge. To test that you need Print Test Quality pages.

1. Press Menu to open the MENUS.

2. Press to highlight DIAGNOSTICS, and then press .

3. Press to highlight PQ TROUBLESHOOTING, and then press .

The message PRINTING... PQ TROUBLESHOOTING appears on the control-panel display until the

printer finishes printing the PQ troubleshooting pages. The printer returns to the Ready state after
printing the PQ troubleshooting pages.

the pages it produces are individual colors, black, magenta, yellow and cyan and a white page and a config sheet.If the defect is on all pages then it might be a bad transfer belt. If it is only on one of the color pages, that will tell you which cartridge is bad.

My HPLJ3500 Color Printer wont print black even tho we just put in a new cartridge. Prints magenta, cyan, yellow, but no black. HELP!

Run the PQ troubleshooting diagnostic.
See if the black is printing.
If not, run the Disable Cartridge check. This will allow you print with only one cartridge in the printer. Take out all the cartridges. Put the black in another slot and put the cyan in the black slot(the top). Print the config page. If the black is printing, is the cyan printing. If black isn't printing the cartridge is bad. If black is printing and cyan isn't something is wrong with the printer. If they are both printing put them back in the correct locations along with the other two colors. It isn't the printer.

Not printing black on right side of doucements

Run the PQ Troubleshooting diagnostic
Check out the BLACK page.
You can also run the Disable Cartridge Check diag.
This test will enable you to pull all the cartridges out, and put the black into any other slot. Then print the Configuration Page and see if the problem follows the black cartridge. If it prints good this way. Put the Cyan into the top slot(black), print the config page. If it prints bad, it's not the cartridge it's the printer.
I think that replacing the Black Cartridge should solve your problem.

Run the "disable cartridge check"
It will be in the Diagnostics.
Once you start the test, you can remove all the cartridges. Put the cyan in the black cartridge slot.
print a config page. If it is all blue, you have another bad cartridge. If it prints correctly(minus the other colors)...continue
Now put the magenta in the cyan cartridge slot. Print the config page again. If you have red all over the page, you have a problem with the slot itself.
Press the STOP button and then select EXIT diagnostics. Put the cartridges back where they all go and run CALIBRATION more than once.
Select/menus/down arrow/configure devce/select configure device
Down arrow/print quality/seect print quality
Down arrow/ calibrate now. Select it and wait.

When i print ,I get this error 'Manual Feeder Paper Empty

You are most likely getting this message because of a paper size mis-match. For example, you are sending a print job as letter size but your printer is set to or has a4 size installed. When the printer sees that the print job is not a matched size to the paper in the tray, it will look to the manual feed tray for paper to print on, hopefully the correct size. Make sure your paper setting in printer properties on your computer match the paper in the printer and the print job "page setup" is also the same size/

Tally6215 "Config 1" Error

The 'Config 1" message on the T6215 is not indicating an error message, this message is simply indicating that Config 1 of the 10 configurations that you can set on the T6125 is loaded.

With the Config 1 message loaded you should still be able to print so long as the printer is ONLINE and does not have any other error lights on.
If the printer is not printing I would recommend printing a configuration page to check the printer is working OK.
To print a configuration page follow these steps;
Put the printer OFFLINE
Press the MENU BUTTON
Press the DOWN ARROW to HELP
Press ENTER

The printer should print a configuration page, if this prints correctly I would recommend checking the settings in particular the Interface and Emulation settings.
I would also recommend checking connectivity between the system and the printer to check the print jobs can get to the printer.
Also check the system to ensure the correct printer driver and printer setup is being chosen.
