Nokia 6300 won't turn on or charge, battery is dead

My Nokia 6300 won't turn on or charge, i also have Nokia C1. Both phones take same battery, i swapped over the battery and it worked on Nokia 6300, so it is not problem with the phone but with the battery. Does anyone know how to fix the battery?

It probably needs replacing. Batteries are generally the first component to go faulty on cell phones. It might be swollen -- this is a clear indication that the battery is useless.

Nokia 6300 dead after falling in water

Don't turn it on! take the battery out.
now you have a few options.
(1) Put the phone and battery in uncooked rice for two or three days. The rice will absorb all the water and you should be able to just charge it and turn it back on unless it shorted out.
(2) Take the battery out and drop your phone into a Methyl Hydrate or isopropyl alcohol bath. This is what most repair shops will do. it only needs to be in the solution for a minute or so. Take it out and shake out the remaining liquid and dry it with cue tips and paper towel. This method will force any remaining water out of the phone quickly and very effectively wait at least three hours for the remaining methyl hydrate or alcohol to evaporate (be sure before you plug it in). Charge the battery then (if the phone didn't get fried) it should turn on as normal.

My nokia 6300 mobile became dead suddenly without any obvious cause

Charge your battery using any other Mobile Phone
And try to switch on.
Then Remove battery for one hour or more...
and insert battery without MMC card...
Try to ON again...

Still remaining same....
The problem might be Software(If green light blinking,It needed to Flash)
Or hardware...

Nokia 6300 cannot be detected by my computer when

The PC seems to be OK. The phone switches off and hence can not be detected. You cant detect a dead device. Try a different battery. Or try using the charger while connectiong. If it does not go off then the battery is at fault. Change it. If nothig is detected faulty, then uninstall PCSuite . Restart the PC and re-install PCSuite without connecting the phone. When you connect the phone afterinstalling the SW, he phone will be detected immediately.

Nokia 6300 Switching off

Purchasing a new phone is easy and everyone is always in a hurry to use new phone but never go through the manual properly. You did the same you didn't put the battery on charge for 24 hours. Now to check your phone take another charged battery for nokia put it inside your phone and start it. It will deffinetly work. In order to revive your dead battery keep your battery on charge while the phone is switched off for minimum 24 hours. If it gets revived its ok or else purchase a new one.
