No water and No coffee comes out of the dispensing head. Machine is 1 1/2 yrs old. Problem 1) When I select any type of coffee, this is what happens: It grinds the coffee and the coffee bean remains empty into the dispensing tray as usual, but no coffee comes out from the dispensing head into my cup. The water does come out, but it only comes out into the dispensing tray (and it is dirty). Problem 2) When I turn on the machine in the morning, it usually does a rinse. It no longer does the rinse properly. The water does come out, but it only comes out into the dispensing tray. The hot water steam wand DOES function properly.

I wanted to add that I used a toothpick to try and clear any possible blockages inside of the dispensing head (where the coffee comes drips out from).. and that did not solve the problem. Also, I regularly do my proper maintenance on the machine and I regularly wash out the brew cup.

SOURCE: 1. After brewing a cup of coffee, when the grinds

HI
Excess water into the drip tray is an indication that you don't have enough coffee going into the brew unit. There is a lever on the top of the door that has a + on one side and a - to the front. Push the lever back to the full plus, then pull it forward 1 click. Try that.
Water into the drip tray is normal in small amounts. This is the release of pressure after brewing, like the 3 way valve on commercial machines

I have a illy x7.1 and wil not come in the descaling mode

There is another process to get into descale mode on some 7.1 machines. I got this from Illy Support:
Descale Cycle
• Turn off machine
• So the usual filling if container with descale fluid
• Turn machine on and within 15 seconds from power on – press and hold in the big cup
button until it gives 4 acoustic signals and then release your finger.
• The big blue cup button should now be flashing
• Press the big blue cup button once – the machine will now dispense water intermittently
from the coffee group head and the steam arm and the steam and coffee button will be
flashing alternately
• Once the descaling cycle has completed it will give out a long acoustic signal
• The coffee button will continue to flash
Rinsing Cycle
• Remove the water tank – wash out and fill with clean fresh water just over the MAX level
• Empty the container holding 1 litre of water and reinstate back under coffee group head and
point steam arm in container.
• Press the flashing big cup button once
• Water will again dispense intermittently from group head and steam arm
• An acoustic signal will sound out as soon as the rinsing cycle is complete.
• The Big Blue coffee button will be steadily lit
• Remove 1 litre container.
• Remove water tank – clean and refill with clean water

–red light should now be off and ready to make coffee

Haggis Brera (new). Dispenses water and brews coffee with espresso (top) button but not bottom (long coffee) button. Just a dribble. What is blocked?

First, I'm not a Haggis Brera Tech. But I have worked on similar machines.
*** You should contact your vendor for service. The following is for information only. ****
* I believe this is a multiple selection machine. Meaning there is several selection buttons that can be pushed for the desired dose of coffee. Most of the machines of this type require a dose calibration for each selection. Check your manual for the selection on the "Long" dose. (FYI long is usually 1-1/2 oz dose compared to the standard 1 oz shot. Check the internet on how to make an Americano with this machine. It's usually 1 shot of espresso with hot water added to fill the rest of the mug.)
* you may also get help on you tube for this machine as lots of people have come across this machine.

I have a Saeco Royal Coffee Bar that will intermittently fail to dispense espresso. It will grind the coffee but instead of dispensing the coffee, it dumps the (dry) coffee into the dreg drawer and resets...

Hi
Its not the water. More than likley its the lever on the right side of the machine at the top middle of the door. Its pushed all the way to the back or positive. Move it 1 mark towards the front of the machine and try again. If you put too much coffee in the brew unit, it can't compress it and kicks it out. It could also be your grind is too coarse. It should look like auto drip coffee.

Saeco Vienna coffee when the machine starts the coffee dispensing

Is it leaking only when brewing coffee ?

If not I would check the seal under the water tank (Part #NM05.006)

If so, I would check the following:

1- The water input port on the back of the brew unit (looks like a smoke pipe) might be clogged

2- The o-ring of the water tubes coming in and out of the boiler.

Seaceo magic delux. Steam nozzle gives water and steam (just about) the machine makes a very loud drilling noise while trying to serve the coffee. Coffee is ground and moist when put in dispenser as it...

Please explain problem better. Whats this " just about " when you describe water and steam. Also on this cut off point that machine is getting hot . This machine gets hot normally , there is a heat cut off mounted on boiler but you would have to remove top off machine and physically check which I don't think you did.

Please help

The Magic Comfort Plus machine has a selection for the temp through the menu for the three sizes of coffees buttons. Using the menu button, scroll through until you come to temp section, then select the coffee size button and and change the temp, example-- Select maximum. Press the menu button to set it.

If that does not help, when a machine gets full of calcium (needs descaling) that also will lower the temp. You might have to descale it three-four times.

And remember, when you descale, run the solution through the steam/hot water wand and also the espresso/coffee dispensing nozzle. Only doing it through the steam wand (like the manual says) will only do 1/2 of the machines water sections!!! I usually run 1 cup of solution through the steam wand and 3-4 cups through the espresso dispenser.

Leaks at the hot water spout during coffee brew

I had the same problem. I ended up taking the coffee machine apart and found that the reason coffee trickles out around the hot water spout is that the two coffee nozzles were partially plugged. Since I Had parts of the coffee machine apart I was able to clean it easily. It may also be possible to clean the assembly using a pick of some sort and clean out the holes of the two normal coffee spouts. Inside it is just a open cavity so gentle poking around and using some steaming hot water may do the trick.
If you want to take the machine apart you need to do the following: 1) take of the warmer plate on the top - 2 storz screws but an allen key works as well 2) take off the top plate of the machine - another 4 or 5 screws - make sure you empty the beans first otherwise you will have a mess 3) remove one screw from the right hand side of the removable coffee ground tray. Once this screw is removed the front panel is free to swing open except for the pipes connecting the front 4) unclip the steam assembly - there are a couple of plastic catches on the top. this will free the steam assembly from the front panel and also free a pipe connections. The steam dispenser pipe will also come free from the steam assembly. 5) remove the coffee pipes from the up and down sliding coffee dispenser. This is a small whitish color clip with 2 pipes connecting into it. The white clip has a little plastic catch on the top that frees it. The front panel should now swing open freely. 6) remove the sliding coffee dispenser from the front door. There are 4 plastic catches, 2 on either side. the whole front sliding coffee displenser now comes free 7) Take the sliding dispenser apart by release the 4 plastic catches on the front curved planel. 8) Inside the sliding dispenser is a white plastic piece that connected to the piping released in step 5. There is a small plastic catch that needs to be pressed while pulling fairly hard on the plastic piece and bending the whole piece. 9) You will now see the plugged spouts. It goes back together really easily.
