if your running windows,goto control panel click on power options then select hibernate and uncheck allow hibernate. also you can choose when your screen and items turn off.

if you keep getting disconnected then i would do internet test,if theirs no fault your end then i would contact your internet provider,because has long has its not xbox live which i dont think it his then i would ring your internet provider,also let us no more details has in does your internet go down or just xbox live? does your router or modem light go off every 20 mins then quickly come back on?

Well some times if your processor gets on heat, it might turn off,s o i will suggest you to keep you laptop on a glass table and than use it, and you an try in safe mode as well and check if it works fine there ot not, if it wrks fine there than that means there might be some virsues or something or some thrid oarty software conflict.

Yu can check event viewer there you can find the exact cause for your shut down.

take out the ac adapter/charger and the battery from the notebook and hold the power button for 30 sec

Later, ON the notebook and keep tap on F10 to check the screen

Do a hard reset to the system take the battery out and unplug the power cable, make sure to unplug the acadapter from the system so there should be no power on the system, after that you have to keep the power botton pressed on the laptop for 50 seconds and then release it. connect the battery only and turn on the laptop and go to the bios screen. if the line is present in the bios too than its a pixcel problem which cannot be repaired if under warranty get the screen replaced in case its on the windows screen then you have to reload the video driver.

Try goining into the Bios setup screen and see if the ethernet is turned on.  Model number A105 - ???
