Panasonic TH-50PE700U red light flashing 6 times

No picture or sound front led flashes 6 times when i turn it on . when i plug it in i here relays click on when i hit the power button it clicks the relays on the back fans go on and L.h board will flash on green about 2 seconds the relays click the off and the red led on the front starts flashing. the main power board leds never lights up.and all fuzes show good.

    why does the red light blanks 5 times and the tv dont stay on how can i fix that

    Red led light is on in the front bottom left corner. changed power cords and tried another plug outlet. Ever time you plug tv in there a 4 clicks followed by 3 more clicks from OJT-SS-105LM relay all caps look to be good no leaks or puffed up. What is the issue?

Replaced the sc board and tv works fine again.

I think if you Google research the model with "10 blinks" you will likely find it is bad power supply or related to it.

Panasonic plasma tv turns on but no picture or sound
Same issue with - Panasonic TH-50PX70A , power UP with red standby, then power ON by remote - only Gives GREEN led blinking 35-40 times, followed by solid green led with no no picture no sound.
>> Solution; unplug Plasma from AC 10-15min, then plug in & power on to Red standby led,, At this point - Power ON tv while holding down both -Volume Down and F (function Select) buttons (front panel door) at the same time turns picture ON,all ok.

The Sc board or the D board has blown which is indicated by the 6 flashes of the led. You need to replace one or both

Pana TH-52PWD8UK. No picture, flashing red LED on front panel
Thanks for the quick answer. I purchased the set in 2005 and it lives outside under an overhang on my patio in humid South Florida. Unfortunately, I couldnt count the red flashes before it went completely dead. Think it was 4or 5. This would correspond with a possible fuse failure on the Power supply. I bought the online service manual, I just wish I knew what to do with it!! The fuses both seem to check out ok on a continuity check. any ideas? Thanks, Charlie

Panasonic TH 42PX50U Red power light flashes 6 times
Most of the time when this happens it is the ysus board, that noise you heard was a capacitor popping. Another board runs about $175 and thats if you do it your self. A shop will most likely charge around 500-600, hope this helps, you could also try contacting panasonic and trying to get past the tech and onto casemanagement where you might get somewhere with an out of warranty fix.

Hdtv won't turn on
Can you count how many times it flashes ? It might flash like 6 times and pause for 2 sec and flash 6 times again. THen call a service comany and tell them this info and they might tell you what part inside is bad. They are not telling you this for you to replace but they might say something like oh 6 flashes is a Y board and we will have to order it.
