Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, a couple of ideas you may want to explore, consider and/or try:
Either way, it is a hardware fault and therefore could not be corrected with a reset, unplug or keys combinations.
This of course would require opening the unit, perform voltage measurements, determine faulty component and subsequent part(s) replacement. Further, a fair familiarity of electronic components/circuitry and safety procedures, use of a DVM and a soldering iron would be required. It would be to your added advantage access to a service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram with voltage readings.Should you be uncomfortable performing a DIY (do-it-yourself), perhaps your best bet would then be to seek the services of a qualified professional.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
It's a signal problem tv in in av mode or RF mode jsut set thru remote to av mode also chek cable wich is connected...
Mirrors out of location. But it usually throws the picture offcenter, also. This can be caused if the set is dropped or kicked badly.
TWO: Out of focus. Can be caused by drift of the circuits or from amalfunction of the video drivers. You can check this by going to thecrosshairs and see if the lines are sharp and narrow. If not, then thefocus is off badly - most likely the blue gun. You may be able to setthe focus and other levels for brightness and contrast and color tooptimize this weakness as these are all somewhat interrelated, especially in the extreme settings. You can make adjustments for theseabove what is available from the OSD by getting into the service mode. See this web site for instructions on how to enter it. http://www.fixyourowntv.com/servicemenu.php
THREE: Worst case is the blue gun or projection tube is failing andneeds replaced - which I don't recommend due to the very high cost ofdoing so.
FOUR: And it is possible the blue gun/tube has been knocked out of alignment by dropping or moving the set.
I favor the focus adjustment as the first remedy to try. You can dothat yourself. But if it turns out the mirror is out of location orthe blue gun is defective you will need a technician for help on thoseitems.
Normally, snow is an indication that there is no signal from the tuner.
Bypassing the tuner by changing to a video input should show you a
blank screen. If you still see snow, it suggests that the set has not
switched from tuner mode to video. I would look for a missing voltage
in the power supply. I wuold look for a missing 12V supply.
There is a problem with the video processing or "driver" section for
the LCD panel. It is possible that the panel itself could be at fault
as well. This will be difficult if not impossible to diagnose
remotely. Board swaps will be necessary to determine the problem
Either the convergence IC for the blue is defective or has bad
connections. There is a possibility that the set needs to be
autoconverged as well.
CHANGE THE CHENNAL BUTTONS

I had the same thing happen when we first brought our new set home.......
On the remote find the button that says "INPUT" press it one time.
A list box will pop up with your choices listed...if you have your television lead (cable) , no matter if it's cable or antenna, set the choice in the box to whichever input feed you used.
After you switch the choice in the box to the right input you will have channels.
Thanks for letting us at FixYa.com help you...I hope this helps you enjoy your new Television set...we do ours, the picture quality is great.
Thanks again from FixYa.com
Hello,
Usually, a blue screen (especially with the words "no signal" or such) indicates that there is no signal making it to the process or of the TV. If you are sure that the cabling is correct, and you have done everything that previous troubleshooters have suggested, then there is one more thing...
If you are on Cable and do not have a cable box, Press the INPUT button on the remote control (sometimes called TV/VIDEO) until you reach where stations or channels should be (CH3, etc.). If you press the menu button, does the menu come up? If so, then go to the channel portion of the menu to the Autoprogram section, and re-auto program, The TV should tell you how many channels that it finds. If the TV finds channels, but you can not see them, or if the menu does not come up, then it is a processor problem, and the TV needs to be taken to a professional repairman.
If you have satellite, and you are on the correct input to see your satellite box, then the above still applies.
The real key is if you see the menu come up when you press the menu button on your TV remote.
Hope this helps you...
Hi raspeights
From the manual it states that this may be because of a poor signal. Do you have another tv to hook up to this cable to confirm this?

You can try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works.. Change the cable and check if it works ....
