I am getting an error on my Oven. I checked out the manual, but the error codes aren't listed. The Error Code is F23 Can anyone help? or does anyone know where there is a list of error codes for my oven or Electrolux in General?
Same F23. Resetting the beaker seems to fixed it. Thanks to all
After self cleaning my electolux oven won't heat
Every time I use the self cleaning mode the heat is to high on it a it flips the interior saftey switch , you have to pull the oven out and on the top right is a switch you can reset it every time you use self cleaning. I used to have the repair guy reset it every time at $100. each time until I started watching him take 2 minutes, pull the oven out and rest it. I'd like to dump mine in the back lane but I'm afraid no one would take it I purchased a Hamilton beach counter top toaster oven and microwave at least these appliance work and don't break down

I had the same problem. I called Electrolux and they said it is a miscommunication between the panel and the timer. You have to turn off the power (throw the breaker) to the oven and leave it off for one minute. When you turn the power back on the oven should reset itself. If you can't turn the oven on then a service call is needed. My oven came on and I was able to use it after that.
Hello Nancy Keller - Typically, error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the wall oven by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.
Error code F 23 indicates the control detected a problem with the communication link or can be generated as a result of irregularities in the power supply or usage.

Usually answered in minutes!
Having a similar problem but the error is F21. I called Electrolux Customer Assistance, & their computers are down for the next 24 hours. The beep was intermittent & it could be used intermittently. Now, it beeps for longs periods of time & then stops & begins again. I can't leave the house because someone will think it's a fire alarm!
F23 Error: Same problem on two year old oven. Tried reboot by turning off power at electrical panel. That did not fix it
Had the same F23 error reading. Reset the breaker, left off for a minute then oven was back to normal.
I am having the same problem - code F23 Oven is 1 1/2 MONTHS OLD!
3-year old Electrolux Wall Oven with F23 error showing. Rebooted electrical fuse and all was fine afterwards. I too found it disconcerting that error codes are not listed somewhere - even checked the website and there was a lot of sales info but no error codes.
Our broiler element on the bottom oven went out. Then the one on the top oven went out. We replaced both broiler elements, but they still don't work. We've flipped the breaker and that didn't help. I read somewhere to check the fuse, but we have no idea where that is. Can you help us locate the fuse.
F23 Error. Tried turning off power at circuit breaker, waited 1 minute, turned power back on. seems to have solved the problem.. F23 Error seems to occur after power surges or storm outages.
I just had the same problem, after a power interruption.
Turning off the breaker for a min. then turning back on seems to have solved the problem.

Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!! I’d just placed my 12 lb stuffed turkey in
the oven for our T-day, which we have on Friday, when the error code F 23 lit
up. My first inclination was to turn off
the circuit breaker and see if it would reset, but my son looked up the error
message online and found your site, before I did it. It was good to know exactly what the problem
was. This oven looks beautiful, and has
a lot of nice features, but is sensitive to power surges, does weird things and
in general is a real pain, except when it’s actually working. We’ve already replaced it once, under
warrantee. What a hassle they gave me,
trying to lose my paperwork, ignore my phonecalls, etc. In the inimitable words of Elmer Fudd, ‘They
don’t know me too well, do they?’ Let me
add a word of caution. Do not line the
bottom of this oven with tin foil, to keep the bottom of the oven clean. It will MELT to the bottom of the oven, then
vaporize. AND there is no mention of
this anywhere in the manual (what a surprise), except a caution that fire can
result from grease collecting on the foil (duh). The manual is almost useless when it comes to
error messages. My original Electrolux went
into lockdown, then shifted into self-clean, with 2 glass pans of banana cake
inside. Sometimes, just a plain old oven
is best….. Thanks again.
