How to set date on m863

Press the menu button and go into the setup menu. Find the time and date setting and set it. You might also have to reset the time and date stamp, if you want it to show on your pictures.

Hi Guys

Every time I'd try to turn my camera on, it would give three beeps and then go off.

I decided to search your Fixya tips, and I found it. All I needed to do was press and Hold the OK/Menu button while I turned on my Samsung S630 camera and it worked!!!!!!
Thanks for the tip, and I hope Someone else will get the same benefit

Have a kodak M863 camera. Lost instructions.

You may view the user guide here and the extended user guide here. See this page for loading the battery.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
