I just moved from Detroit to LA and hooked up my washer, proceeded to run a load and the tub doesnt spin and the aggitator does not work and the water just keeps pouring! it is holding water and it is draining. I got it to aggitate for a short time with no clothes in it,(at the final spin). It is a Whirlpool ulitmate care II.

Sounds like you have your drain hose pushed in too far, causing it to syphon the water out. www.washermd.com

My top loading frigidaire washing machine barrel spins during wash cycle and the aggitator is going as well how do i fix it

Hello fire_rod - From what you have described it sounds like either the transmission is failing or the trunnion, which secures the tub to the transmission shaft has broken. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer won't aggitate

My Whirlpool WTW6600 had the same problem. The tub no longer floated up and down on the center shaft, so it only spun, not agitated. You must remove the tub (with some effort) and lightly sand / clean the center shaft. Lube it lightly with wheel bearing grease so that after it is reassembled, you can pull the tub upward and feel about 1/2" movement. This will enable the proper gear assembly to engage. It can spin when it rests at the bottom of its travel, but once you fill the tub, it floats, moving upward, and engaging the agitation gear. Good Luck!

Water drains during spin cycle, but tub does not spin and appears to have dropped down. Machine does aggitate.

If you can move the tub by hand laterally - the rear main bearing has likely failed - or the drum rollers are worn.

Washer won't aggitate or spin.

your water pressure tube is clogged at the tub. Take the back of the control panel off and blow or a small balst of compressed air down this tube and try the washer again. Powder detergent clogs this tube at the bottom of the tub and does not tell your pressure switch to shut the water off at the proper level thus overflowing your tub.
