I Havel a pro-95 scanner and I have frequencies programmed into banks 1 thru 6 and the scanner isn't scanning banks 2 thru 6

Make sure the banks are enabled and the frequencies in the banks aren't locked out. If you are scanning trunked systems make sure the control channels are set up properly.

Keep in mind you cannot scan digital systems with this scanner, only analog systems and frequencies.

800 MHz frequency Mode problem

You have to program it TRUNKING mode when you enter the control channel frequencies. It is decoding okay as the MO shows motorola control channel and +DG means digital decoded and an OPEN group. You need to press the 'trunk' button everytime a talkgroup comes up that you want it to remember for future 'closed' group (-DG) talk groups. I suggest you go to 'RadioReference DOT com" and there are many forums there for your radio, as well as one or two YAHOO GROUPS specifically for your scanner. 73's

I get all channels locked out. How do I unlock the channels.

You are pressing the "scan" button in the upper left hand position and getting all channels locked out? Correct?
If you haven't programmed any frequencies the channels will stay locked out. Get your local frequencies by doing a search for police scanner frequencies. Once you have gotten the information for your area press the "PGM" button on the lower right hand side of the key pad. Input your 1st frequency ###.#### then press "ENTER". Press "PGM"key again and enter your 2nd frequency then "ENTER" again. Repeat as often as you wish to enter more frequencies.
When you are done, (you can stop any time) press the "SCAN" button in the upper left hand position and you are in business. You are supposed to be able to choose which memory position you wish to use but I haven't tried to figure that one out.
If you need the manual for the radio go to radioshack site and do a search for PRO95 and it will come up in PDF format.
Hope this helps. I have owned the pro 95 for maybe 6 or 7 years and after doing a little programming yesterday the thing is much more to my liking. It scanns quicker and scans the channels I wish to listen to.

All channels locked on my radio shack pro-95 scanner

Make sure you are entering your frequencies in empty channels unless you want to over write one that you don't want to use any longer. Press "PGM" until you get to an empty channel.

Trunking frequencies

Did you initialize your scanner? If you did, then you also deleted your trunking banks (1-9). These are the banks that store the channels that were inputted by you. The scanner will display "All channels locked out," when all of these banks are empty. You may have to put the frequencies in again. I suggest using win97. There is a 30day trial. This is the only program that I know of that will work with this scanner.

The pre-programmed channels should still be there. If you press and hold the scan button for a couple of seconds you should see the signal stalker running.

Good luck.

To stop beeping sounds

Good day Gloria, Here is a parts list, http://support.radioshack.com/support_electronics/doc68/68646.htm refrence part number 12392288 COVER ASSY BATTERY, you can go to your local Radioshack and they can order this. Tell them that it is an RSU order, ask for a manager if they don't know what your talking about. That is a special wharehoues that they have for parts. Newly hired associated usually don't have a clue that it exists. Or call 1800-843-7422(1-800-the-shac) to order, they may redirect your call to a local store. Follow this link for the manual, http://support.radioshack.com/manuals/ome20-525.pdf After skimming the manual my self I couldn't find much on the beep issue. It is possible that that beep is coming from the transmission you are recieving, does it that on all frequency's, or just certain ones? Keep in mind that that could also be a weatherband alert tone. I'm not sure, well I hope this helps in someways, If all else fails read pg 83 of the manual to reset the unit. Good Luck
