Make sure that the power cord is plugged into a working outlet, that the prong section is connected with a clean contact to the brick, that the magsafe connector and port are both clean. Remove the battery. Now power on the laptop with the power button.

If this does not work, attempt to reset the NVRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379). If this is still not working, you can disassemble the machine and remove the upper part of the bottom case (lifting the keyboard section, and try to reseat the keyboard connection to the logic board. This cable is what allows the power button to turn on the machine. If this fails to fix it, then you have either a bad i/o board, or a bad system board, or a bad power cord.

I dont have charger . is there a way i may charge my laptop using a desktop pc

Hi
No, that is not posible. you might want to get a universal charger for the laptop, they are fairly cheep. At the bottom of the laptop you can see how much power the laptop uses like:
19V (Volt) 1,2A (Amps)

If the LCD, inverter etc works in anothe laptop but not in the original laptop then it looks like a motherboard problem, possibly the power supply to the inverter.

Dv6120us power button dont work

None of the buttons will work untill the power is turned on and no sound will be heard.
You might want to try charging the battery by connecting the AC adapter to the laptop and plugging it into the wall outlet.
With the AC adapter connected, try powering up the laptop.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck.

The laptop fell while the power lead was inserted it pushed the pin to the side an stopped charging it now wont turn on

Replace the power supply or the motherboard of your laptop, if your laptop still has its own warranty try to call the technical support of your laptop manufacturer and asked them to replace your power supply or motherboard. But if you dont have any warranty from your manufacturer, you must still call them to purchase a new power supply or motherboard.
