I am getting a few blue vertical lines in the same place on everything i scan in color. when i scan in b&w you cant see any lines. i've cleaned it for all dust/debris, etc and no help!?!?!?!?!

Print quality is good, b&w copy is good. When i make a color copy the machine makes blue lines or bink lines. This is a brand new c452.Scan to PC is ok, print its ok only copy. Lines are vertical.

If you are seeing vertical streaks/black lines your primary corona wire is dirty and or the fax scanner may be dirty.
1)To clean the corona wire you take the drum unit and toner cartridge and place it on disposable paper to avoid spilling.
2) Clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the blue tab from right to left several times.
3) Return the blue tab and snap it into the home position.
4) Reinstall the drum unit and toner cartridge.
5) Close the front cover.
Caution: if you do not return the blue tab to the home position it may repeat the black lines.

Hook a spare monitor to the video output usually on the back, if picture is okay! it means the LCD panel display on the laptop is defective and will need to be replaced. But if the symptom is the same it is the video graphics card that is bad, normally built into the motherboard.

It looks like you've got two issues. If you tried a different monitor and it too have vertical blue lines your video card might be bad, but hold that thought. I'm thinking you need to reload the operating system because you can't boot all the way up which is the second issue.

Have you tried to boot up in Safe Mode and do a System Restore? Turn the computer off, then turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Select the Safe Mode option. When it boots, if it boots successfully things will look different in Safe Mode. The screen will be darker and icons bigger, but that's normal. If you get into the desktop successfully, click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. Select a restore point (date and time) that is before you started having problems. If the system tells you that you have no restore points, then you will have to either Reload the Operating System or do a System Recovery. By the way, System Restore does not lose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos, or programs unless the program was installed after the restore date. System Recovery LOSES EVERYTHING, it sets your system back to when you first purchased it.

Since the lines are vertical, the image is lost sideways and the corruption changes with the image then clearly this is a sign of Y-Sus failure, not the Z-Sus or the buffer boards.
An logic or input board failure would affect the entire screen, not just a part of it and a failure in one of the buffer boards would affect strictly defined lines of pixels and the defect would be constantly there all the time.
Since you haven't told us the exact model i can't point you to a replacement board.
