since you didn't bother to tell us what unit you are using, no one can help you further. suggest you read the instruction booklet that came with the unit, or find it online and download and then read it.
Without knowing the model of your Uniden cordless phone it would be a bit difficult to send you the manual. And even if hadn't neglected to specify the model, you neglected to publish your email address.
You can, however, select the model of your Uniden cordless phone from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.
From this link you can buy a copy : http://www.cordless-phones.uk.com/cordless-phones/digital-cordless-phones/panasonic-kx-tg1100-phone or you can download one from: http://phone.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/panasonic/kxtg1100ne_kxtg1102ne_kxtg1103ne.html ................................................sodeep
Since you neglected to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 system I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.
1.Call from a touchtone phone. 2.During greeting message, enter your remote code. (Code is "11" by default, or you can set your own beforehand via Menu>Initial setting>Set answering>Remote code>enter your desired 2 digit number) 3. Unit will announce number of new messages, and play them back. 4.After 3 seconds, voice guidance will start; follow as necessary.
Bypass voice prompt by pressing: 1 Repeat message (during playback) 2 Skip message (during playback) 4 Play new messages 5 Play all messages 9 Stop (to resume, enter a command w/in 15 sec, or voice prompt resumes) 0 Turn answering system off *4 Erase this message (during playback) *5 Erase all messages If answering system is off, you can force it back on by calling and letting phone ring 15 times. Good luck. Hope this helps!
