Honeywell Chronotherm III puts heat up contrary to programming

There seems to be a phantom setting in my chronotherm III thermostat. It puts the heat up at 4:40 am to 66 degrees, when the wake mode starts at 5:40 am at 66 degrees. The program is still in sleep mode at the time and sleep mode is at 62 degrees. I have disconnected, taken out the batteries to restart and it still does it. Any ideas ?

Honeywell Chronotherm iv fan keeps running even when heat and cool turned off. How do I turn it off?

To turn the fan off, press the "fan key" until it says "auto". This will turn the fan off. When the programs scheduled, changes, the fan will go on again. You have to repeat the fan to "auto" each time the schedule changes.

I have a very old manual Chronotherm thermostat.

No. The clock is just the set back timer. Pull the battery and use the stat manually.

My honeywell chronotherm III says -AC any ideas

The problem is your 24v power source. I am unsure as to why you put "other than power source or batteries". If you did indeed check that your thermostat is receiving 24v, then I would say that you have a bad thermostat. Hope this helps

I have a honeywell III chronotherm thermostat /It won't turn on the heat or the air conditioning when turned to those settings, but it sometimes will when turned to "auto". The batteries seem fine, no...

it sounds like it is time to repalce the stat, auto is set to allow the fan to run only when the heat or a/c is on, the switch for heat and cool will select either, and the temperature lever should allow contact for the bulbs to bring on the desired component. there are no replaceable parts on a thermostat, or I would try to walk you through replaceing them. good luck.. I prefer the honeywell vision pro or the white rodgers 9500 series stats
