Xbox:360 Audio Problem

Some XBox games have both a 360 and original XBox version, so you can't play them on the 360. Other games simply aren't compatible. Your game may fall into one of those two groups.

The Xbox 360 does not like to be moved when playing a disk some of the mechanics may have misaligned or slightly out of sync this may be reason the DVD drive is making those sounds.

I strongly recommend you remove any visible dust from the 360 especially the sides and air vent holes using a vacuum cleaner. Once youve cleaned it place it horizontal (never on carpet) on a flat surface well ventilated away from other devices that generate a lot of heat.

As for the 'shredding sound', place in **** game into the 360 when it starts to make those sounds again gently tap the 360 on top (where the DVD drive is) until it stops making that sound. This doesnt always work but has for me and many others.

My experience tells me that dust can build up not only inside the 360 but also the drive itself which can lead disc read errors and the sounds and you mentioned.

Remember DUST and HEAT is the 360's biggest enemy and can cause RROD, 1 Red Light Problem, and disk errors.

alright. make sure that your red, green and blue are all plugged in properly and that your audio plugs are also in there correct plugs. i think audio is red and yellow. correct me if im mistaken

It has to be reflown.. That's the only solution to fixing the audio problems , because its in the motherboard.

1. Try another Av cable ( Audio video Cable )

2. This issue is caused by the video card inside the xbox 360. If you still have warranty better send it in for repairs ( Call xbox customer support )

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.
