Hello. Unfortunately The Gerber division of Fiskars Brands Inc is about the only company that handles replacement parts and/or repairs. Should your product still be under warranty, you are even luckier as warranty repairs are almost effortless. They have divisions globally, as I am unaware of your location - I am including the link to the North American site for contact information. Most cities have local recycling centers where you can drop off paper, plastic, etc. They usually have something set up for electrical components like VCRs and batteries. The PowerRite Plus was an old Deltec model. Deltec was acquired a few times and is now belongs to Eaton. If you are looking for a new UPS, you can participate in the UPSgrade program which includes recycling your old UPS: eaton.com/upsgrade.

My guess it it is trying to get your attention for some reason. While I am not familiar with this brand, the competition brand beeps because of battery failure or impending failure.

yes..and that happens after a period of time. When you get new ones, check the instructions on the initial charge/discharge requirements, and use those methods. tends to help with the battery life extension.

Call Eaton/Powerware and provide the serial number.
