P52927 focus and screen module

I have isolated my problem to a part no one has ever heard of, the"focus screen module". It is a box with 6 turnable knobs that focus the image on the RCA projection TV. the part has a S3 location#(supposedly) and is located under front speaker screen behind front access panel which is between front speakers. Once access panel is off it is on righthand side. can someone tell me where I can get replacement or interchangeable? part# on sticker attached to mounting surface with diagram is 15165410. An internet company said 15414390.
the TV'scomplete service # is p52927yx10 Thanx in advance

How to adjust the lens-focus?

the lens has a wingnut knob on it, loosen the nut and then rotate the thing to focus in and out. there is also an electical focus in the front of the tv, there is a little black box called a focus block, 6 knobs , 3 focuses for each tube, 3 drive controls (screens).. dont turn the screens, just the focus for the color needed.. look closely they are labeled its just hard to see
the front should pop off, remove what screws you can find, the rest are snaps.. really tough ones.. let me know if you need further assistance.

Well on my 300m the heater and a/c dont turn off even if i press the off button

If you have the automatic controls you'll need to replace the blower power module behind the glove box.

1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(2) Open the glove box.
(3) Flex both sides of the glove box bin inward near the top far enough for the rubber glove box stop bumpers to clear the sides of the glove box opening then roll the glove box downward.
(4) Reach through the glove box opening to access and disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector for the power module from the module con-nector receptacle.
(5) Reach through the glove box opening to access and disconnect the blower motor pigtail wire connec-tor from the power module connector receptacle.
(6) Remove the two screws that secure the power module to the evaporator housing.
(7) Remove the power module from the evaporator
housing.

Turnable plate isn't working

in order to be 100 % sure
you would have to check voltage to the motor while its suppposed to operate
take off the bottom 6 screws, you might need whats called a safe t, a torque wrench or star with a hole
most use phillips,
drop the bottom, you should see the turn table motor
disconnect the two leads and connect them to a voltmeter,,,
turn the unit on
you should read voltage to the meter
if not the problem is in your control board and will need to be replace
if you do read voltage and the motor is not turning
you will need to replace the actual motor
either way its a pretty simple repair and can be done without taking the unit dwon

Picture not clear

see if the webcam has a turnable ring around the lens, that is the manual focus

if the webcam has auto-focus, this may be controlled by the software that came with the camera - check here, the auto-focus function may have been disabled

Double focused, red and green, bow in picture top and bottom

hi
You have a convergence problem
If the set has auto focus and will not complete its cycle.
The Auto focus module is bad, (expensive)
If it completes and the problem is still there.
Then check for bad conv. drivers (stk****) or cold solder joint on one or more of the 3 drivers pins.

RCA projection tv Model # P52927

You need to re-solder the circuit board that contains the STK convergence modules. They're on the center circuit board attached to an aluminum heat sink that's about 8" long and 6" tall, about dead center in the circuit board. You may be able to recreate the problem (hour glass effect) by gently moving the heat sink (which the modules are connected to). This gives the hour glass effect on the picture and the advanced convergence screen. This is an indication that the modules pins aren't solidly connected (meaning soldered) properly. Remove the circuit board and clean the old solder off & resolder the modules pins to the circuit board reconnected the board and then retest by again pushing on the heat sink. This is a caused by a minimum effort (a.k.a. minimum cost) solder job, probably done in some 3rd world sweat shop. The "factory" job was good enough for 3-4 years but the heat (and these modules do create a lot of heat) and stress created from repeated use eventually takes it's toll, weakens the pin connections and our problem occurs. take the appropriate cautions working around the high voltage of the set & use a non-conduting piece of wood to push the heat sink when we doing tests. Best of luck, hope ya fix it.

Focus/Screen block bad

This part is called the Focus Block and has 6 controls, 3 for focus and 3 for screen. The screen is the overall brightness of the CRT and the focus is the sharpness. The part can be ordered by description from any RCA parts distributor but the controls should be set by someone with experience.
