My home theatre unit bdv-L600 will not eject the DVD as it says it is locked

  • Chris burns Nov 12, 2012

Just to add a bit more information, it currently has a DVD loaded into the unit. However when I try to eject the DVD, the screen comes up with the word ' locked'. I cannot even eject by pressing the button on the actual unit nor will it play by using the same buttons yet it will play through the remote.

I think your best bet is to remove the top of the unit and see what has caused it to lock. Removing the CD once the top is off may fix your problem.

Remote is working ,but DVD player button is not working and I could not eject my disc from dvd player.

DVD player drawers are generally driven by a small rubber belt that either falls off or breaks. Easily fixed by just looking inside the unit and replacing the inexpensive belt.

HI pls my hometheater is no more giving me sound even when the volume is tuned to high level.

make sure your power unit is lit up and looks normal , then ck your source selection , anyone even the Dog can make a mistake and hit the wrong button

home theaters amps that have auto power on/Off tend to get left on the lower shelf and not thought about till they no longer work , most have a ton of settings and buttons that can and will get changed for the silliest of reasons (even the dog)

Hi ,pls my sony Bdv L600 3D home theater does not give me any sound even when I turn de volume high.Pls I need help to solv th problem, thnx.

There can be many problems causing this. Check to see if you have everything switched correctly, including inputs that can be analog or digital.

Try this. Disconnect the power to the unit. Plug it back in. When you first push the power button, you should hear 1 click followed by a second click within 5-10 seconds from the unit itself.

This unit has two locks for demonstration purposes so discs can't be stolen.
Eject lock:
With the unit powered on, press and hold stop button and power button on main unit for at least three seconds until it shows unlocked.
Function lock:
With the unit powered on, press and hold play button and power button on main unit for at least three seconds until it shows unlocked.

Hope this helps.

I can't get tv to send sound to sound system

Having browsed the user manual I wonder if you plugged in the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System while the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv was powered down via the optical cable .
Then powered up the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System first and then powered up the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv
Maybe the Polaroid FLM-2632 TV has to detect that the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System is connected and powered up when the Polaroid FLM-2632 powers up. To activate its digital audio out ????
The note part about only being available only under HDTV (cable/air) mode. Might be the cause of your hassle also ?

Disk stuck in my Blue Ray

Hi!
I had the same problem, and I solved it by shutting down the unit and then disconnected the power supply for some sec. When re-connecting the power supply and pushing the start button the DVD was ejected when pushed the eject button.
