I've had the machine for about a year now. I used it this morning, then a bit later my wife tried, but the machine won't turn on. In addition to that, the fuse box for my appartment jumped. So I'm guessing a short circuit of some sort, so might need to change the fuse inside the coffee machine. Does anybody know how to do this?
My dear sir it looks that you had some internal leaking .due to this the water went on to the electric parts . now you need to fest dry it properly then plug it in again and make sure it doesn't leak again if not check there is two thermal fuse on the ac supply sow make sure you unplug first see that you do the same as type if this get blown again then you have to change the pcb
SOURCE: There isn't enough pressure to pump water through the coffee
Chalk in the system, let it run a couple of times with plain vinegar. just fill the machine with about half a liter (one water container) vinegar and collect the vinegar in a cup so you can reuse it. run the full 0.5 liter, wait an hour and repeat. Than run 2 full watercontainers plain water. should work again. Cheaper than antichalk fluid and works the same
SOURCE: coffee not hot enough
Before placing first coffee capsule in the machine, run the large espresso cup button into a cup (clear water will come out). This primes the machine and makes for hotter coffee.
SOURCE: Cuisinart Coffee maker: no
You have not missed anything. Unplugging for longer than 16 minutes (has 15-minute memory) is the only troubleshooting you can perform. Call Cuisinart to find out if you are still in warranty. All electronics have a failure rate. Cuisinart's is acceptably low, but their coffee makers are the least reliable of all their products. The basic problem with electronic coffee makers is that coffee makers produce high heat, and high heat kills electronics and melts plastic. At least Cuisinart has a 3-year warranty - higher than the industry standard.
Let me put it another way. All coffee makers have a high failure rate. As many Cuisinart coffee makers that break down, the non-Grind-and-Brews still have a 91 rating from Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports doesn't give ANYTHING a 91 rating. A lot break, but you probably won't fare much better by switching to a different brand. The problem with a Cuisinart breaking down is that an expensive unit broke down - you wouldn't be upset if your $15 Mr. Coffee broke every year. The law of averages is on your side - a 2nd Cuisinart will probably last longer.

If you just bought it you should return it immediately and try another.
SOURCE: Flashing red light. Nespresso Citiz & milk coffee machine.
problem is overheating at a single point in the bottom of the milk container. Try cleaning the milk residue after each time you use it and the flashing red light disappears. This is a design fault. Nespresso are happy to keep marketing the Citiz but there is no fix - so the Nespresso "mess free" coffee machine is a bunch of flannel - good coffee all the same!
