Here is a list of faults for that tv. Is recommended to take to a qualified repair shop. I could not find a recall for that set, only a complaint about a different Sanyo set that should have been recalled. Find that link here http://www.my3cents.com/showReview.cgi?id=41608 and the link for some known or I would assume common faults listed for quicker repair for Sanyo televisions. http://www.euras.com/repair_tips_1/SANYO/DS25320/DS25320_SANYO.htm

Hope this helps. Ratings are very important to us so I want to thank you in advance for taking a moment to rate my response.

I havea 46" sanyo model dp46841 lcd tv but the tv wont respond to the oem remote or universal remotes ?

Sounds like the infra-red sensor inside it is either damaged or it do not get proper voltage to work. Check it. If it get proper voltage/s and still not receive any infra-red signal from the remote control, replace it. The part in discussion will look somewhat like this.

25758228-54zq5khwu0nuxgxnhh2yrt4a-2-2.jpg Prior the replace this component, make sure that the remote control you're using works properly, and do emits infrared light rays, during each button presses on it. Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. Surf the site with patience.

Got a Sanyo DS25320 and using a universal remote. The screen is blue and says Video and when I hit menu it only gives me the option of auto/ manual/ game or language, can not get to the other selections....

The tv universal remotes are having very limited options in functions and tv universal remotes are only work correctly are like buttons power on/off volume up/down and channels up/down.Menu button and a Video setting option modes functions setting are another story all together. These two functions Menu button and Video setting modes funtions will not work correctly in any tv universal remotes.Because these Menu and Video setting modes are belong into the internal setting of the tv itself. It will only work correctly with the tv original remote only.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.

I have a sanyo ds25320 tv that is stuck on the aux channel and will not change to reg tv.

You will, of course, need the original remote. At one time you could purchase a Sanyo universal remote. I'm not sure if you will find one at a discount store or an electronics store. In any case a good universal remote may work. When you do program the remote, you simply press channel 3, or input, and, you should be fine after that. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

My Tv Remote GXDB DOESNT WORK ANYMORE HOW DO I GET A NEW ONE I PUT IN NEW BATTERYS AND STILL DOESNT WORK tv is only a year old

Please look here:
http://www.google.com/search?q=sanyo+gxdb+remote&hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS282US283&prmd=ivns&source=univ&tbs=shop:1&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=yClfTdL3EI2osQPE8dDPCA&ved=0CC0QrQQ

Or Google 'SANYO GXDB remote"
Testing remote control:
The remote control puts out IR (InfraRed) signal that human eyes cannot see, to find out if the remote is sending out the signal or not you just point the remote at the digital camera's Lens (Digital Camera can detect IR), you should see flashing light on the camera's screen when any one of the remote button is pushed. If you do see the flashing on the camera, then the problem is in the TV IR receiver or the main logic board; more troubleshooting with scope will be needed to look at the signals.

Sanyo FXTG remote

Hi having a quick read trough the manual and finding the remote on the internet suggests this is the correct remote for your TV. The remote is not a universal remote so no programming is possible or necessary

Sanyo tv model no DS25320

How do you know if the fault is really the sensor? We test these with a scope and check to see if the data pulses coming out are correct. It is possible that the failure is between the sensor output and the uPC controler or the controler itself. I have seen it all.

If you do not properly verify where the failure is and also determine the exact failed parts, you can end up buying a lot of parts for nothing.

You can order parts from the manufacture's authorized service center. Some may refuse to sell parts. In this case you can call the manufacture directly for a list of parts dealers that are close to your area who will sell you the parts.

If the manufacture has the policy of not selling parts to non authorized servicers (many do), then you will have to give the set to one of their authorized service reps.
