I have a vehicle that we bought used that has a DEI python remote car starter on it. We have used it quite a few times over a 6 month period. Now it won't work. I have replaced the battery in the remote prior to having trouble with it. I don't even know what model it is or how to find out. Suggestion appreciated as to where to start. On the morning that it stopped working I had started the car with it and it ran for a bit. Then maybe ten minutes later when I went back outside I used it again and then got in the car to go. I forgot to turn the key on so then it died. I have not been able to start it again since. This happened about 6: 45 a.m. and it is now 7: 20 p.m.
First thing i would try is locate the main box for auto start. usually it is under dash on the driver side when installed. then find the lage or hrness with the most wires going to it and unplug it/wait a few min. then plug it back in. sometimes the unit will go into a security mode. this will just reset it. if this doesn't work then let me know

Not sure on the model but the keyless entry part of the system works fine but it just doesn't start the truck. It preps and turns all the gauges on but seems like it doesn't have a connection or something. I've looked and found no problematic wires so I don't know.
I have the same problem. I left my car running too long and when I went to get in the car it had timed out. I tried to restart the car and it will not start. Any suggestions. I saw alot of wires but have no clue as to how to unplug them. I am a female.
